Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Registration experience is required.
• Check in triage duties.
• Vitals taking and documentation.
• Charge entry responsibilities.
• EKG administration or interpretation where applicable.
• Filing and maintaining Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Document all care and actions in the patient record; support quality-improvement processes.
• Review daily claims reports, coordinate with billing, and schedule next visit at checkout.
• Triages patient calls and ensures proper disposition; notify physician for emergencies.
• Collect co-pays, register patients, explain balances, and issue receipts.
• Assist with medical procedures and record vitals; maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Handle patient complaints and escalate to supervisor when needed.
