Job summary

Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a Cross Functional Project Manager I to support the Vaccine, Immunity and Cancer Directorate.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or 4 years related experience), 2+ years in project management, and proficiency with MS Office; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years relevant experience in lieu of degree. Foreign degrees must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience managing research, experimental planning, proposal writing and project management.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of research subcontracts supporting the program.
• Support administrative Program activities by planning and implementing overall Program strategies.
• Communicate effectively to compose both business and scientific documents and ensure efficient Program operations.
• Assist with overall coordination of Program/Project level functions.
• Ensure Program compliance with policies and procedures related to project management, contract relations, purchasing, and fiscal planning.
• Provide meeting management support to Programs, including drafting agendas and minutes and tracking action items.
• Assist in preparation of program reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual).
• Assist with progress reporting, deliverables, and proposals, statements of work, and 508 compliance.
