Job summary

Teledyne MEC in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking a VE Processing Assembler to build and inspect RF and microwave components for aerospace, defense, and communications applications. You will work on precision assemblies, interpret schematics, and maintain a clean, organized workspace to support on-time production.

The role requires experience with small parts, hand tools, and microscopes, plus the ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience with small parts, hand tools, and microscopes (required).
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions (required).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy (required).
• Ability to lift 5-20 lbs and work in a team environment (required).
• Tig welding, brazing, and clean room experience (advantage).
• FOD control and GD&T familiarity (advantage).
• U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) (required).

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacuum envelope mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Interpret schematics and use measuring tools such as optical comparators, calipers, and microscopes.
• Assemble components using small hand tools and precision equipment.
• Maintain production flow to meet weekly schedule requirements.
• Follow detailed instructions and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Salary Range:

$39,000.00-$52,000.000
