Job summary

Teledyne MEC seeks an Assembly professional to build and assemble RF/microwave components for aerospace, defense, and communications. You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and use microscopes and precision tools to ensure high-quality sub-assemblies.

Join a team focused on precision, innovation, and reliable manufacturing in a collaborative setting. Candidates should be able to lift 5–20 lbs, work with small parts, and pass a background check where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Experience reading blueprints and following written/verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience working with small parts, hand tools, and microscopes (required).
  • Ability to lift 5–20 lbs and work in a team environment (required).
  • Tig welding, brazing, and clean room experience (advantage).
  • FOD control and geometric dimensioning/tolerancing (advantage).
  • U.S. Person status (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) (required).

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vacuum envelope mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies for quality and accuracy
  • Interpret schematics and use measuring tools such as optical comparators, calipers, and microscopes
  • Assemble components using small hand tools and precision equipment
  • Maintain production flow to meet weekly schedule requirements
  • Follow detailed instructions and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized work area

Salary Range
