Job summary

stdiron is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to join its Project Management team in its architectural metals fabrication environment. You will provide administrative, technical, and organizational support to Project Managers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role acts as a central communication link among estimating, engineering, drafting, purchasing, production, quality, shipping, and installation, as well as customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or related roles.
• High school diploma required; associate/bachelor's preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain records.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proactive follow-up with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
• Willingness to learn ERP, scheduling, and document-control tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with coordinating and administering architectural metals fabrication projects from award through completion.
• Maintain project schedules, deadlines, action items, and deliverables.
• Track project status and follow up with internal departments to ensure information is complete.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation: POs, submittals, approvals, changes, meeting notes, reports.
• Assist in preparing project updates, status reports, and customer communications.
• Monitor milestones and identify potential delays or outstanding items.
• Maintain organized project files per company procedures.
• Assist closeout activities including final documentation and billing support.
