Saddle Creek Logistics Services in North Carolina is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise and mentor a team, oversee safety and sanitation, and ensure efficient daily operations.

You will set priorities, prepare schedules, and communicate with management and customers, while training new associates and maintaining data records. This role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a non-temperature controlled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor up to 25+ employees.
• Prepare reports and complete audits.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met and communicated.
• Set work priorities and schedules; expedite workflow.
• Enter data in computer systems and maintain records.
• Train new associates and assign tasks.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 12AM-9AM, overtime is required

Warehouse team leaders are responsible for various job duties within the warehouse/distribution center. These duties include, but are not limited to, supervision and mentoring of up to 25 or more employees, preparing reports and completing audits. Ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met and exceeded, communicating with employees, management and customers. Determine work priorities, prepare work schedules, expedite workflow Understand and communicate productivity standards and goals Prepare reports, enter data in computer systems Ensure safety and sanitation standards and met, exceeded and maintained Assign tasks to personnel Audit tasks performed by warehouse personnel Complete reports and records in a timely manner Communicate with management Train new associates, plan, assign and direct work Resolve problems Other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience required
• Must be 18 years old
• Must maintain productivity and accuracy standards
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• May regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in a non-temperature controlled warehouse (meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates through each season)
