GEODIS INTERSERVICES seeks an experienced Cross Dock Supervisor in Houma, LA to lead warehousing operations, ensure safety, and optimize outbound/inbound processes. Responsibilities include scheduling, documentation, and coordination with the Logistics Coordinator.

The role requires strong leadership, 5 years in warehousing, and SAP experience to manage inventory and logistics. Forklift experience and hazardous material knowledge are essential for daily tasks.

Competenze

• 5 years' experience as a supervisor in warehousing or manufacturing
• Expert knowledge of distribution concepts and best practices
• Experience using SAP to manage inventory and logistics
• Hazardous material certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Mansioni

• Ensure Health and Safety in the Cross Dock area
• Execute cross-dock policies and improve efficiency and productivity
• Manage cross-dock operations including priority setting, inspection, outbound scheduling, and temporary storage
• Create inbound/outbound documentation and perform 3-way matching
• Operate forklift when needed and handle material movement
• Create hazardous material documentation and HazMat manifest
• Act as back up for Cross Dock Operations and coordinate with Logistics Coordinator
