Job summary

You will develop a shared vision for academics and athletics, plan rigorous practices, and mentor student-athletes to excel in sport and life. Reporting to the Athletic Director, you will schedule competitions, coordinate travel, manage eligibility, maintain records, and collaborate with staff to promote sportsmanship and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or MSHSAA Requirements for Athletic Coaches Special
• General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
• Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cross country practices and competitions for boys and girls.
• Schedule competitions and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Ensure safety and proper conditioning of student athletes.
• Maintain eligibility and discipline in accordance with school policy.
• Collaborate with Athletic Director and staff to support student-athlete development.
