Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate and LHSAA coaching eligibility.
• CDL Class B with P or S endorsement (as required).
• Meets Louisiana Department of Education bus driver requirements.
• Employment with Jefferson Parish Public School System as a teacher or administrator.
• Meets Article 3.3 (Faculty Coaches) requirements per LHSAA handbook.
• Demonstrated expertise in cross country conditioning and program management.

Responsibilities

• Develops, organizes and implements the cross country program.
• Leads cross country personnel and student athletes.
• Ensures compliance with LHSAA, JPPSS and LHSAA rules and regulations.
• Schedules games and related cross country activities.
• Maintains records, equipment, and team statistics.
• Coaches and evaluates assistant coaches under supervision.
