Job summary

Digitas in Boston seeks an Associate Director, Cross Channel Investments to lead paid media investments across TV, OOH, video, audio, social, search, display and influencer channels. You will partner with channel investment teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach and optimize performance for our clients.

You will mentor a team of channel specialists, negotiate with media partners, and translate data insights into stronger campaigns while collaborating with the Media Strategy and Data

Qualifications

• 7+ years of media planning and buying experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in advertising, marketing, business, communications, or equivalent.
• Analytical background with comfort using data and numbers.
• 5+ years of people management experience, overseeing five or more reports.
• Deep industry relationships with ad tech firms, brand teams, and publisher/platform partners.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to communicate incremental value to clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to convey ideas clearly.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and generative AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead tactical plan development and cross-channel recommendations aligned to media strategy and market insights.
• Liaise with channel teams on RFPs, proposals, pricing, and added value negotiations.
• Create and maintain holistic channel activations with details on flighting, placements, targeting, and cost.
• Develop cross-channel budget shift recommendations to maximize profitability and exceed client goals.
• Oversee dollars in market, monitor pacing, and manage cross-channel performance.
• Establish processes for buying and execution excellence and troubleshoot campaign issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics (DNA) on cross-channel performance and learning agendas.
