Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities, including root-cause analysis.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex topics for varied audiences.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, capable of working independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively within a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a dedicated focus on internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining product classifications (HTS/ECCN) and verifying Country of Origin.
• Respond to customs broker inquiries for information to ensure timely cargo clearance.
• Develop standard operating procedures and brokerage guides to maintain audit-readiness.
• Qualify products and issue Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certificates in response to customer requests.
• Solicit origin documentation and manufacturer affidavits from global suppliers to support inbound compliance.
• Maintain import and export recordkeeping files, ensuring customs data and commercial documents are accurately organized in shared repositories.
• Monitor daily import clearance statuses and assist in resolving holds or exams with CBP.
• Support the administration of the CTPAT program by assisting with annual supply chain security assessments and partner validations.
• Collaborate with logistics, sourcing, and legal teams to support compliant cross-border transactions.
