Job summary

The City of New York’s Department of Design and Construction, Division of Infrastructure, seeks Inter-Agency Coordinators to join the Front-End Planning team (DEP and DOT coordination) at 30-30 Thomson Ave, LIC. You’ll help define project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates for major capital works, focusing on water and road projects across agencies.

Ideal candidates will review sponsor designs, perform site visits, coordinate with city agencies, and prepare materials for strategy meetings

Qualifications

• Outstanding verbal and written communication in English.
• Drainage plans analysis and proposing alternatives.
• Project management knowledge for infrastructure work.

Responsibilities

• Review conceptual designs and assist in final scope development.
• Develop cost estimates and baseline project schedules.
• Data assessment and site visits to identify feasibility issues.
• Propose alternative solutions and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations and track project progress across agencies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture/urban planning

High school diploma + 5 years experience

High school diploma + combination to five years education/experience
