Job summary

Syngenta Crop Protection invites you to join our Emerging Talent Program as a Crop Protection Sales Intern. You will participate in a curriculum-based learning opportunity designed to prepare you for territory sales in agriculture, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to day-to-day operations.

Estimated Duration: May 2027 – August 2027. Salary ranges between $20-$45 hourly, with opportunities to develop product and agronomic knowledge, leadership, and communication skills as you support

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior class standing, working toward a bachelor’s degree, preferably in agriculture or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership in student organizations and/or work experiences.
• Effective writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable moving violations record.
• Strong customer focus, business acumen, resilience, interpersonal savvy, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Engage growers and resellers in solution-based, consultative selling to achieve sales targets.
• Manage and support the customer base in a defined geography.
• Advise channel partners on the presentation of products and promotional materials.
• Identify and analyze customer needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective ways of working that enable the Sales Team.
• Develop skills and experience to further your career by building product and agronomic expertise, as well as refining your communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
