Job summary

Syngenta Group in Omaha, NE is seeking a Crop Protection Sales Intern through its Emerging Talent Program to gain hands-on experience in territory sales and learn product and agronomic expertise. The program offers exposure to day-to-day operations and mentorship from experienced professionals.

The curriculum-based role runs May 2027–August 2027, with opportunities to grow in communication, leadership, and sales skills for future roles within Syngenta.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior standing pursuing a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership in student orgs or work experiences.
• Effective writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage growers and resellers in solution-based, consultative selling to achieve sales targets.
• Manage and support the customer base in a defined geography.
• Advise channel partners on the presentation of products and promotional materials.
• Identify and analyze customer needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective ways of working that enable the Sales Team.
• Develop product and agronomic expertise, and refine communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
