Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking a PCA to build and maintain nutrient and crop protection programs for our crops, coordinating with farming teams across pistachios, almonds and pomegranates. This role requires monitoring orchards for pests, nutrition and disease, and advising on application schedules and materials.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, ordering materials, reporting at ranch meetings, and staying current with pest control information.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience to obtain a PCA license.
• 1 year minimum working in an agricultural environment.
• Experience using GPS and farming sprays equipment.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor orchards for insects, weeds, nutrition deficiencies and disease.
• Assist with crop protection schedules and material recommendations.
• Coordinate nutrients and crop protection materials applications.
• Track quantities of materials applied and coordinate ordering with Procurement.
• Forecasting and budgeting for future crop year.
• Attend weekly ranch meetings and report PCA updates.
• Stay updated with new pest control information.
