Job summary

Chubb in Rhode Island seeks a candidate to gain experience across its crop insurance products and agribusiness programs. You will assist in marketing, sales, and agent training while building relationships with agency partners within the assigned division.

You will become familiar with Rain and Hail systems to maximize efficiency for agents and adjusters, support field operations in territory management, and participate in claims processing with the team.

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree in Agricultural Business or related field required with 1-3 years of experience. A GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

Gains experience with products and services including Multi-peril crop insurance, named peril crop programs, and Agribusiness programs.
Assist in marketing and sales of all lines of business.
Develop relationships with the agency plant in the assigned division; assist in training new and existing agents about marketing techniques, products, services, rules/regulations.
Become familiar with Rain and Hail systems and technology to maximize efficiency for agents and adjusters.
Assist field structure in management of assigned territory and communicate policy to adjusters and support staff.
Assist in investigating and resolving complaints from agents/insured in assigned territory; collect and document outstanding premium balances.
Monitor Quality Control audits in the territory to ensure RHILLC plan implementation requirements are met.
Identify and contract independent adjusters to ensure prompt loss adjustments.
Gain experience in loss adjustment procedures applicable to crops in the division.
Attend industry seminars and field days as directed; assist with timely completion of claims.
