Job summary

Openkrill is seeking a data-driven Experimentation Manager to lead end-to-end A/B testing initiatives for mobile apps and mobile web. You will coordinate analysts, developers, designers, and QA to ship experiments on schedule.

You will analyze user behavior, define hypotheses, and drive optimization across onboarding, pricing, and checkout flows, delivering measurable increases in conversion and revenue. This role requires strong communication and an ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in A/B testing/experimentation, ideally with mobile apps (iOS/Android) or mobile web.
• Strong project management skills: plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple concurrent initiatives in cross-functional environments (Agile, Jira, Confluence).
• Adaptability and ownership in a fast-paced, iterative optimization process.
• Knowledge of statistics related to A/B testing: sample sizes, statistical significance, funnels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with app development processes and release cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase, Figma, Jira, and Looker.

Responsibilities

• Act as the project manager for experimentation initiatives: define scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and on-time delivery.
• Analyze user behavior and derive ideas to improve conversion, billing, retention, and refunds.
• Create and test data-driven hypotheses and A/B tests for mobile journeys (onboarding, pricing, checkout).
• Track and refine mobile funnels, paywalls, and acquisition channels for actionable insights.
• Iterate optimizations using established patterns while adapting to changing priorities.
• Perform data analysis to explain the WHY behind results and deliver actionable UX insights.
• Communicate results and learnings to stakeholders and maintain a knowledge base.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and manage the entire experimentation lifecycle end-to-end - from idea intake and prioritization to launch, analysis, and documentation - coordinating cross-functional stakeholders (analysts, developers, designers, researchers, copywriters, QA);
• Act as the project manager for experimentation initiatives: define scope and timelines, manage dependencies across teams, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure experiments ship on schedule;
• Conduct user behavior analysis based on qualitative and quantitative data sources and provide ideas to increase conversion rate and other relevant metrics (billings, retention, refunds);
• Create and execute testable, data-driven hypotheses and A/B tests tailored to mobile user journeys (onboarding, paywalls, pricing, checkout flows);
• Track the performance of mobile funnels, paywalls, and acquisition channels to find actionable insights and react to identified problems and opportunities;
• Apply an iterative optimization approach based on established patterns, while adapting quickly to shifting priorities and business needs;
• Perform data analysis of experiments: explain the WHY behind the data and deliver actionable insights to further improve UX, conversion rates, or other relevant metrics;
• Communicate experiment results, learnings, and next steps clearly to stakeholders and leadership, maintaining a well-documented experimentation knowledge base.

CORE REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years hands-on experience in A/B testing/experimentation, ideally with mobile apps (iOS/Android) or mobile web;
• Strong project management skills: proven ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple concurrent initiatives in cross-functional environments (familiarity with Agile, Jira, Confluence is a plus);
• Adaptability and ownership: comfortable switching between strategic planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, intensely iterative optimization process;
• Knowledge of statistics related to A/B testing: sample sizes, statistical significance, marketing funnels;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Familiarity with app development processes and release cycles;
• Hands-on experience with tools like Firebase, Figma, Jira, and Looker;
