Job summary

The CRNP will lead patient care, promote safety, wellness, recovery, and long-term health outcomes while working within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
• Experience with substance use disorders, addiction, behavioral health, or medically complex populations preferred.
• Master's degree in Nursing with NP preparation required.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments, physical examinations, and health evaluations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care.
• Evaluate patients for substance use disorders, withdrawal symptoms, and co-occurring medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness and potential adverse effects.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, behavioral health professionals, counselors, and other treatment team members.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
