Job summary
Valley Forge Medical Center & Hospital in Norristown, PA seeks a compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in an addiction treatment setting.
The CRNP will perform comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnose and treat conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, manage ongoing care, and collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, counselors, and the interdisciplinary team to promote safety, recovery, and long-term health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania CRNP/NP license.
- Current DEA registration is required.
- Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
- Experience with substance use disorders, addiction, behavioral health, or complex medical populations preferred.
- Master's degree in Nursing with NP preparation required.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive medical assessments and health evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, counselors, and other team members.
- Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness and adverse effects.
- Maintain compliant medical documentation.
- Promote patient safety, wellness, recovery, and health outcomes.
