Job summary
UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist across diverse procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases and catheterizations.
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with CRNA certification is required; ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are required. Eligible employees may access PSLF benefits and robust educational assistance programs.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
- Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures.
- Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
