Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a compassionate CRNA to join the Department of Pain Medicine. You will serve as a primary clinician for medication management, addressing acute and chronic pain in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate will have ARNP licensure in Iowa, CRNA board certification, DEA registration, and a commitment to safe, evidence-based pain management with strong patient education and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current ARNP licensure in Iowa or eligibility.
• Board certification as Nurse Practitioner.
• Current DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary provider for medication management of patients with acute and chronic pain.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans with the pain management team.
• Manage opioid and non-opioid therapies following guidelines.
• Perform routine monitoring and risk assessment for safe prescribing.
• Educate patients and families about pain conditions and treatments.
• Document encounters in the EMR and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
