Job summary
Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver general nursing care in our clinic setting in Des Moines, IA. You will work under the Clinics Administrator and Clinic Supervisor, coordinating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice.
The role requires an active IA RN license, BLS certification, and orientation completion.
Qualifications
- Current RN license recognized by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
- Knowledge of nursing care in accordance with Iowa Board regulations and practices.
- Successful demonstration of Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider).
- Completion of Clinical Services orientation and unit-specific training.
- Team-based approach to patient care and effective communication.
- Familiarity with computer usage and health IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide general nursing care in a clinic setting.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Promote and restore patient health using the nursing process.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation.
- Utilize computer systems and HealthStream for competencies and records.
