Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by CODA or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities delineated by clinical privileges.
• Assist with collecting, reviewing data pertinent to patient history and planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per safe practice standards.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluids, and physiologic responses for patient safety.
• Complete documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
• Log incidents in the Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
