Job summary

Education requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
Responsibilities
- Assists with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data related to history and planned procedure.
- Maintains a safe environment and responds to emergencies and safety hazards.
- Prepares and administers medications and fluids following safe practice standards.
- Monitors airway, anesthesia depth, fluid status, and physiologic responses for patient safety.
- Completes required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care notes.
- Logs incident reporting in the computerized Safety Portal.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
