Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and evaluate patient data for medical history and planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids in accordance with safe practice standards.
• Document the surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, and transfer-of-care note.
