Job summary

GASTROINTESTINAL ASSOCIATES, LLC in Johnson County, Kansas City area seeks a CRNA to join our GI-focused ambulatory surgery center as an independent contractor. GI procedures only, with a daytime schedule and a supportive team.

Typical schedule is four days per week, with occasional fifth day for coverage. First cases start at 7:00 AM and last at around 3:00 PM; no nights, no weekends, and no call. Lunch is provided on most days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current CRNA certification.
• Current Kansas RN/APRN/CRNA licensure where applicable.
• Current ACLS/BLS certification.
• Ambulatory surgery experience preferred and GI anesthesia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia evaluation and assessment.
• Administration and management of anesthesia for GI procedures.
• Intraoperative monitoring and management.
• Post-anesthesia care and handoff.
• Collaboration with gastroenterologists, nurses, and ASC staff.
• Maintain patient safety and high-quality care.
