Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations. The role also involves clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Qualified candidates must graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, hold APRN with CRNA certification by the Alabama Board, and possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
APN with CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board required.
ACLS certification required.
BLS certification required.
PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA Specialty (AL Board)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
