Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a CRNA Faculty Instructor for the School of Nurse Anesthesia in New Haven, CT. This full-time day rotation role supports didactic and clinical instruction, supervises SRNAs, and participates in program development within a leading academic clinical environment.

The position requires CRNA experience, COA-accredited education, and a doctoral-level credential (DNP/DNAP) or current doctoral enrollment. Strong teaching and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COA-accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• A Doctoral degree (DNP/DNAP) or enrolled in a doctoral program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring COA standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate activities and committees to meet program goals.
• Involved in interviewing and selecting students as needed.
• Coordinate clinical program scheduling for SRNAs.
• Communicate with rotation sites for student evaluations.
• Review anesthetic management plans and assist in evaluations.
• Serve as a professional role model for students.
• Support PD and APD with remediation planning.
• Participate in didactic and clinical instruction.
