Job summary

Columbia University School of Nursing seeks a dynamic Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the faculty of our DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program. This open‑rank, non‑tenured position offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of nurse anesthetists through a combination of didactic teaching, clinical supervision, and an active clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of clinical CRNA practice.
• Active CRNA license and national certification required.
• Active membership in AANA preferred or required where applicable.
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic and clinical courses in the DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Maintain an active clinical anesthesia practice aligned to program needs.
• Provide advising and mentoring to students during clinical education and scholarly projects.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program evaluation, and quality improvement.
• Engage in scholarship, professional service, and committee activities with colleagues across the School and Medical Center.
