Shenandoah University’s Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing invites applications for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Program Director (Founding). This is a full-time, 12-month, fully benefitted faculty position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia. Position starts Fall 2026.
The Program Director will lead the new CRNA program, shape curricula, and oversee accreditation efforts while fulfilling teaching, service, and scholarly activities in the School of Nursing.

The School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). ACME accredits our Nurse‑Midwifery program, and SACS accredits Shenandoah University. We offer robust academic tracks across two physical locations (Winchester Main Campus and Loudoun), as well as online graduate programs with on‑site campus immersions. Our programs include traditional, transfer, and accelerated BSN options, MSN tracks (FNP, PMHNP, NM), Post‑Graduate Certificates, and DNP degrees.
