Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the GMC Anesthesia department. The selected candidate will perform preanesthetic assessments, develop anesthetic plans and administer general, regional, local, and sedation techniques, with continuous patient status monitoring.

Responsibilities include emergency readiness, postanesthesia care, and on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an approved nursing school and hold Ohio RN licensure.
• Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program and pass the AANA certification exam.
• Maintain current licensure, and ongoing certification per AANA and Ohio regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document preanesthetic assessment and evaluation.
• Provide general, regional, local and sedation coverage.
• Select, obtain and administer anesthetics and other drugs.
• Facilitate emergency and recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide postanesthesia care and on-call coverage as required.
