OhioHealth GMC Anesthesia is seeking a certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to perform comprehensive preanesthetic assessments, devise anesthesia plans, and administer general, regional, local, and sedation anesthesia. You will monitor and manage patients through recovery and provide on-call coverage as needed.

The role requires a Master’s in Nursing, Ohio RN licensure, and AANA/NBCRNA certification, with completion of credentialing processes specified by AANA and NBCRNA.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing is required.
  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
  • Completion of AANA Certification examination.
  • Current Ohio RN licensure and active CRNA status.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preanesthetic assessments and document findings.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia plans (general, regional, local, sedation).
  • Administer anesthetics and related drugs; monitor patient status.
  • Provide intraoperative anesthesia support and respond to emergencies.
  • Deliver postanesthesia care and follow-up evaluations.
  • Participate in acute and chronic pain management modalities.
  • Provide on-call coverage as required by department.
  • All services supervised by a physician as required by Ohio law.
