Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in California seeks a qualified anesthesia professional to join the anesthesia care team. You will administer intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics, monitor patient vitals, and document postoperative status in line with KP policies.

Procedures outside the OR are performed per policy and MD orders. Required include RN licensure in California, CRNA certification, ACLS and BLS, and graduation from an accredited nursing/anesthesia program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts anesthetic evaluations and consults with anesthesiologists and surgeons.
• Administers anesthetics and monitors vital signs during procedures.
• Submits postoperative reports and maintains records of anesthetics administered.
• Performs procedures outside the OR in accordance with policies and physician orders.
• Collaborates with post-anesthesia care unit staff to ensure patient safety.
