Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to join its anesthesia care team in California. You will administer intravenous and inhaled anesthetics, monitor patient vitals, and respond to intraoperative changes in coordination with anesthesiologists and surgeons.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program and an accredited anesthesia school, with California RN and CRNA certifications, plus ACLS/BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program and anesthesia school by hire date.
• California RN license at hire.
• CRNA certification required at hire in California.
• NPI number required at hire.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required at hire.
• Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia and monitors vital signs during procedures.
• Records anesthesia administration and postoperative condition.
• Gives pre-anesthesia evaluations and consults with anesthesiologists/surgeons.
• Performs procedures outside OR per policy and MD orders.
• Communicates patient risks and ensures documentation.
• Maintains compliance with Kaiser Permanente policies.
