Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthetic care for patients in surgical settings. You will assess, plan, implement, and monitor anesthesia, document medical records accurately, and collaborate with attending physicians on care plans.

Responsibilities include mentorship to staff, participation in quality improvement, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and serving as a clinical resource to the health care team.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CRNA certification from NBCRNA.
• Preferred: prior CRNA experience.
• CPR, AHA, Act 34/33/73, FBI background checks, PALS and ACLS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all anesthesia patients.
• Documents medical records accurately.
• Monitors patients under anesthesia and consults with attending physician for plans outside the CRNA scope.
• Participates in performance/quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Acts as a clinical resource and may mentor staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
