Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will administer intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgery, obstetrical deliveries, or other procedures, with airway management as needed.

This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with surgeons and a safe, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
