Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA will administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia and provide airway management as needed.

Candidates must hold RN license and NBCRNA CRNA certification, with a master’s or doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia, and demonstrate strong judgment, communication, and teamwork to collaborate with surgeons and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and NBCRNA CRNA certification.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
