Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team in Suffolk, VA. This role offers competitive pay, robust benefits, and a pathway to advanced practice within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, reviewing, and evaluating patient data pertinent to the medical and surgical history for the planned procedure.
• Maintain a safe environment and respond to emergencies and safety hazards.
• Prepare and administer medications and fluids per accepted safe practice.
• Monitor airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response to ensure patient safety.
• Complete required documentation: surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note.
• Log incidents in the computerized Safety Portal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
