Penn Medicine, an academic medical center, seeks a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver anesthesia services across the enterprise. You will perform safety inspections, prepare equipment, monitor patients, and assist with postoperative care, under supervision of staff anesthesiologists.

The role emphasizes quality, education, and collaboration within the Anesthesia and Critical Care team at HUP and PPMC. Fulltime/part-time hours are available, with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Master's Degree graduation from an approved CRNA program is required.
• 0–1 year experience in accredited anesthesia school is acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Make preoperative visits and assess patient condition with staff anesthesiologist consultation.
• Assemble, prepare, and test supplies and equipment for anesthesia.
• Operate monitoring equipment and ensure patient safety during anesthesia.
• Administer anesthesia including inhalation, IV, spinal, epidural, and nerve blocks.
• Maintain anesthetic state and inform surgeon/physician of patient condition.
• Record preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative data accurately.
