Job summary

Avera St Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen, SD seeks a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our anesthesia team. The role involves induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia for diverse procedures, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to move health forward for patients and families.

Required CRNA and RN licenses in the practice state, NBCRNA certification, and the ability to instruct anesthesia students.

Qualifications

• CRNA active licensed in the state of practice upon hire.
• RN license in the state of practice upon hire.
• CRNA certification with NBCRNA credentials upon hire.
• Ability to induce, monitor, and complete anesthesia safely.

Responsibilities

• Determines plan of care and communicates the plan of care to patient and family.
• Induces, maintains, and monitors anesthesia during procedures.
• Completes the anesthesia and the emergence from anesthesia.
• Transfers care to appropriate staff at termination of procedure.
• Performs as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students.
