Job summary
UAB Medicine is seeking a CRNA to provide anesthesia under supervision for varied surgeries and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and catheterizations. Qualified candidates hold a Nurse Anesthesia Program degree, CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
- Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
- Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
