Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for the UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham team.

The role offers practice autonomy within a supportive group of anesthesiologists and CRNAs, with opportunities to participate in diverse procedures across multiple surgical services. Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and current APN/CRNA certification, ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• Current Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with CRNA specialty certification is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
