Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a highly qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases and cardiac catheterizations. You’ll participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program and active CRNA certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing, along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• CRNA Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
