UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures. You will also participate in clinical instruction of nursing anesthesia students.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program degree, APN-CRNA certification, and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. A full-time schedule with a competitive annual salary and sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program is required.
• APN with CRNA certification is required.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Responsabilités

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
