Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts and/or reviews anesthetic evaluation of patients prior to procedures.
• Reviews patients charts and pre-operative medications.
• Evaluates patients for airway difficulties and documents pre-anesthesia evaluations.
• Explains tests and risks to patients and families as needed.
• Develops and implements anesthesia plan and manages the patient.
• Monitors patient vital signs and responds to changes during anesthesia.
• Performs procedures outside the OR as authorized.
• Keeps accurate records of anesthesia procedures and patient conditions.
