Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthesia is required.
• Current state licensure and NBCRNA certification required.
• BCLS certification required, ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical anesthesia duties with direct patient care responsibility.
• Work casual schedule Monday through Friday 0700-1530 with 8 hours paid per shift.
• No call requirements – shifts assigned on first come, first serve basis by CRNA Manager.
• Provide anesthesia services for general, orthopedic, podiatry, gynecology, ophthalmology, and ENT procedures.
• Work in combined practice model with both MDA supervised and independently run cases.
• Administer anesthetic agents following established protocols and guidelines.
• Communicate patient status effectively to healthcare team members.
• Facilitate staff coverage, assignments and breaks in surgical areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Assess and interpret patient data relative to age-specific needs.
• Ensure patients and families are partners in anesthesia care planning.
