Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic cases and cardiac catheterizations, and to participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

We offer a competitive salary range of $185,000 to $248,986 per year, a $45,000 sign-on bonus where available, full-time shifts, and a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• Current CRNA certification (Alabama Board of Nursing) required.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
