Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist for a broad range of surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic cases. The role includes participating in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

The position offers a pay range of $185,000–$248,986 per year, a $45,000 new hire sign-on bonus (where eligible), and a comprehensive benefits package including PSLF eligibility

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• CRNA Specialty certification by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic procedures and cardiac catheterizations.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
