Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist across diverse surgical procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with APN-CRNA certification; ACLS/BLS/PALS are required. A sign-on bonus may be available; PSLF eligibility is noted for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program.
• Must be currently certified as an APN with CRNA specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• ACLS certification is required.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association is required.
• PALS certification by American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests, including cardio-thoracic surgeries.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
