Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures, including cardio-thoracic cases and cardiac catheterizations. You will participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program required.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
• APN with CRNA Specialty by Alabama Board of Nursing required.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests or cardio-thoracic procedures.
• Participate in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.
